DAY TWO – DAY SEVEN – Golf coaching holiday
All aspects of your game will be covered and a detailed itinerary for the duration of your Tuition Break will ensure you get the most out of your trip whilst having a great time.
Alongside focusing on key elements of your golf game including chipping, putting, pitching, iron play, and driving we will delve into more performance-based activities such as course management, performance practice, and basic golf psychology.
Our PGA professional will also be able to analyze your golf game more closely whilst playing with you on the golf course. The Dunes Course
The Dunes Course, the first signature-designed golf course in Greece. Open since May 2010, the impressive seaside Dunes Course is the first signature golf course in Greece, designed by two-time US Masters Champion and former Ryder Cup Captain Bernhard Langer in association with European Golf Design.
The Dunes Course has been designed to provide an exciting challenge for all golfers. Each of the 18 holes has multiple sets of tees to allow players to select the course length that best suits their game. The par-71 course measures 6,581 yards from the back tees.
Generously wide fairways and large greens make good targets that will be appreciated by golfers. Much of the course has been crafted to reflect the rugged outlines of the distant mountains. As you move further inland, the course unfolds, its character softening to fit with the surroundings of olive and citrus groves. In season, players are welcome to sample the ripe fruit from the trees around the course at their leisure.
The Bay Course
Open since October 2011, the 18-hole, 71 par seaside Bay Course at Navarino Bay, designed by Robert Trent Jones II, provides both a fun experience and a challenging test for golfers of all levels.
Just a few minutes from Navarino Dunes, at the Navarino Bay development, the Bay Course offers an alternative set of challenges and choices in a quite different setting.
With the majority of tees offering sublime sea views and two holes playing along the historic Bay of Navarino, the course plays a little shorter than The Dunes Course at 5,422 metres from the back tees and meanders through three distinct natural landscapes. The Seaside, Canyon, and Grove holes provide striking contrasts that create a dramatic and memorable golf round.
The Navarino Hills East Course
Navarino Hills, recently named as the ‘World’s Best New Golf Development’ at the 2020 World Golf Awards stretches over 500 hectares of rugged natural terrain overlooking Navarino Bay and provides the ideal complement to the existing courses.
Designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend José María Olazábal, the two new courses will both play to par 72 and measure 6,466m and 6,280m respectively and stretch over 125 hectares (1,250,000sq.m.), overlooking the historic Bay of Navarino and the surrounding hills.
When the project is fully completed in 2022, the Mediterranean’s prime, sustainable destination will be in the enviable position of being able to offer its guests four signature 18-hole golf courses – all within a 13km radius.
