China may be famous for blockbuster sights such as the Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and Terracotta warriors but it’s fast becoming known for its interest in golf too.
China’s beguiling mix of age-old history and high-tech development is simply irresistible. It’s a destination that gets under your skin. The kind of place where you can peel back more layers on each visit, revealing something new at every stop.
So, where to start? How about taking a walk along the iconic Great Wall, away from the larger crowds; wandering through the ancient royal residence of the Forbidden City; seeing the immortal Terracotta Army for yourself, or standing in front of the largest Buddha statue in the world.
The immensity of the Great Wall, the mystery of the temple-capped mountains, the history of the Silk Road, the modernity of glittering cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, and the tranquillity of virginal landscapes like Yunnan’s are all quintessentially China. Our holidays in China offer an incredible diversity of cultures, landscapes, traditions, and cuisines.
Golf Travel Tours of China take you from ancient Beijing and the Great Wall of China to cosmopolitan Shanghai.
The popularity of golf in China has increased exponentially over the past few years and it is now home to not only some magical courses but also an increasing number of professional golfers who are starting to make real inroads into the dominance of the European, Australian, and US players.
