Just like the “Wine Route”, a “Golf Route” has been created by the French Tourism Authority in order to highlight the numerous golf courses located in Provence-Côte d’Azur.
The stylish and scenic strip of coastline called the Côte d’Azur stretches from Saint-Tropez to Menton near the border with Italy. Also known as the French Riviera, the Côte d’Azur translates to “Coast of Blue,” taking its name from the deep azure-blue color of the Mediterranean Sea.
A golf tour of the Cote d’Azur is like swimming in the sea; you can not ignore it. Along the entire coast of the Mediterranean, there are beautiful golf courses of which experts have said you cannot find such a wide range anywhere in the world.
Play Royal Mougins’ championship course, laid out in a wooded vale, it winds its way around scenic wooded vales, rivers, and lakes – several with picturesque, free-flowing waterfalls.

Itinerary
DAY ONE – International outbound flight
Today your tour begins, by boarding your international outbound flight to Nice. After being met at the airport, you will enjoy a half-day guided tour in Nice, before checking into your hotel.
With its narrow, shadowy streets, cozy squares, colourful markets, baroque churches and jumble of pastel houses, Vieux Nice looks and feels much as it must have about two centuries ago.

DAY TWO – Golf at Terre Blanche golf resort
After breakfast, transfer to Terre Blanche golf resort, with two championship courses winding through pine and oak clad hills and valleys, providing golfers with sweeping views of neighboring villages and the Southern Alps.
Dave Thomas, the architect, has designed what is now considered as 2 of the best courses on the French Riviera. Le Riou course is more technical, with its narrow and hilly fairways surrounded by many bunkers and doglegs almost on all par 4 and par 5.

DAY THREE – Full day Guided tour

After breakfast, begin a full-day guided tour, Gassin The perched village overlooks the peninsula of Saint-Tropez. The deep blue sea contrasts with the tender green of forest and vineyards shared by no less than seven wine domains and chateaux, next onto Saint-Tropez, a wonderful seaside village with a legendary reputation for both quality of life and its architecture including the fortified citadel. DAY FOUR – Golf at Terre Blanche golf course
After Breakfast, today play Le Château course. n 2017, the “Le Château” golf course was awarded 14th of the “Best Golf courses in Continental Europe” by Golf World Magazine UK and hosts the ‘French Riviera Masters’, the only Senior European Tour championship in France.
In the afternoon transfer to Cannes, and check into the Majestic hotel, a luxury five star palace located in Cannes in front of the Mediterranean Sea.

DAY FIVE – Guided Tour in Provence French Riviera
After Breakfast, a tour of Provence begins, Cannes the site of the worldwide known movie Festival, a symbol of elegance, prestige, and sophistication.
Its lovely harbour hosts some of the most exclusive yachts in the world, Saint-Paul de Vence, a tiny Provencal village famous for its painting galleries, the tour will visit Eze, This superb “eagle’s nest” surveying the Peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, offers remarkably well-preserved medieval architecture.
Monte Carlo is next on the tour, a heaven for lovers of luxury and sophistication. The cream of jewelers, designers, and perfumers all have shops here. Some of the top designers even come to Monaco to find inspiration.

DAY SIX – Golf at Cannes Mougins golf course
After Breakfast, transfer to Golf at Cannes Mougins golf course. Opened in 1923, the Cannes Country Club was founded by prestigious members such as Prince Pierre de Monaco, Aga Kahn, or Baron Edouard de Rothschild.
Its original design was signed by Colt and Simpson, the most famous architects in the twenties, and then redesigned by Thomas and Alliss in 1978.
This sumptuous parkland course surrounded by oaks, pine-trees, and fields of jasmine hosted 14 times the Cannes Mougins Open, part of the European PGA tour, with famous winners such as Greg Norman or Seve Ballesteros
DAY SEVEN – Golf at Royal Mougins golf course
After Breakfast, transfer to Golf at Royal Mougins golf course. The Royal Mougins Golf Club is a private international Golf Club ranked as one of Europe’s best golf courses. Set in a wonderful Provencal landscape.

Terre Blanche Golf Resort
Terre Blanche was opened in 2004 and has two internationally renowned golf courses – Le Chateau & Le Riou – as well as the only training centre of its kind in Europe, where the very best teaching methods are used.
Thanks to state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facilities, Terre Blanche has GEO (Golf Environment Organisation) accreditation and, in 2018, was voted the Best Golf Resort in continental Europe by the well-respected Golf World UK magazine.
Here, nature provides the inspiration for the courses valleys, lakes, ravines, waterfalls, forests… Golf architect Dave Thomas skillfully preserved the existing contours and natural features of this magnificent site. His signature bunkers with their indented edges are a feature of both courses.
Cannes-Mougins golf club
Cannes-Mougins is one of the Grande Dames of the Cote d’Azure golf scene. It was built in the 1920s and had a makeover from none other than Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas in the 1970s.
The course acquired a European reputation in the 1980s and 1990s when it hosted the Cannes Open, a stalwart for many years on the European Tour.
Cannes-Mougins is one of the more prestigious names in golf on the French Riviera, and for golfers based around Cannes and Antibes, it is an essential part of any good itinerary,
