Itinerary
DAY ONE – International outbound flight
Arrive on your international flight into Florence, meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
After check-in, and time to relax enjoy an orientation walk of Florence, and visit Michelangelo’s statue of David. Welcome dinner tonight in a local Trattoria walking distance from your hotel.

DAY TWO – Wine tasting tour
A day “Under the Tuscan” sun in Siena, with lunch and wine tasting at Castello di Verrazzano winery, followed by a stop in medieval San Gimignano on the way back. Dinner at leisure

DAY THREE – Golf at Ugolino
The course was designed by an Englishman and an Irishman, Cecil Blandford and Peter Gannon.
They used the natural contours of the Chianti slopes to produce an outstanding course, threaded through the indigenous vines, olive trees, maritime pines, and broom.
The course is not long but demands a high degree of skill. The greens are small and well defended by bunkers. The sloping fairways also present a great challenge. To play Ugolino is not just to indulge in a game of golf, it is to wander through a landscape of great natural beauty, surrounded by olive and other fruit trees. It is an unforgettable and uplifting experience.

DAY FOUR – Golf at Le Pavoniere
Imagine a golf course that flanks an ancient park, where the fairway is undulated and the sand of the finest.
Imagine eighteen holes designed as only a world-famous player, Arnold Palmer, could design them: perfect lines of play, greens protected by insidious bunkers and strategic water hazards.
In the heart of Tuscany just a stone’s throw from such an important art city, the highly emotive geometric lines merge perfectly with the landscape.

DAY SIX – Transfer to Rome
Check out the hotel, and board your fast train first class to Rome, on arrival transfer to the hotel, and relax before a guided orientation walk of Rome, followed by dinner at Tre Scalini on Piazza Navona, after dinner transfer back to the hotel.

DAY SEVEN – Golf at Acquasanta & Pasta making tour
The Golf Club of Rome Acquasanta is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Italy, the first document attesting the existence of the Rome Golf Club is dated January 12, 1903.
The route is extremely challenging, hilly terrain allowed to draw holes with a remarkable level of difficulty, and its ups and downs will test even the athleticism of the players, but what characterizes this field is the undeniable charm of the area where it is located, some holes are then particularly scenic and infuse the golfer considerable pleasure in playing them.
Acquasanta is considered in all respects the oldest club in Italy, the field is really spectacular and unique whereas the Roman aqueduct runs through part of the 18-holes course. Afterwards

DAY EIGHT – Golf at Marco Simone & Rome Tour
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club is the official host venue of the 2022 Ryder Cup Match. The course offers 27 holes and it is at 10 miles from the centre of Rome.
It is built around a castle of the 11th century and features from several holes the view of Saint Peter’s dome. Considered one of the most prestigious golf course in Italy, Marco Simone Golf Club, home of the 2022 Ryder Cup, is a must-play if you are planning a golf tour in “The Eternal City”.
The club will be the third venue in continental Europe to host the tournament, following 1997 host Club de Golf Valderrama in Spain and Le Golf National in France, which will host the tournament in 2018.
Italy was selected in December 2015 ahead of Austria, Germany and Spain to host the 44th edition of the tournament, with the decision being made by a Bid Evaluation Committee comprised of representatives from the European Tour and the Ryder Cup.
Although the Vatican City is the world’s smallest sovereign state, its Museums hold one of the richest art collections in the world, gathered by art-loving Popes throughout the centuries.
We begin our tour by wandering leisurely along the galleries of the Vatican Museums: the Candelabra Gallery, the Tapestry Gallery and the Geographical Map Gallery, where we have glimpses of the exquisite gardens of the Pope. We then reach the world-renowned Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo spent four grueling years painting the Chapel ceiling with frescoes depicting scenes from the Old Testament, including an incredible scene of the Creation.

DAY NINE – Fly to Sardinia & Tour of Emerald coast
Check out of the hotel in Roma and transfer to the airport for a 55-minute flight to Sardinia, upon arrival transfer to the hotel, for check in and lunch.
In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the emerald coast, followed by an evening meal at a local Sardinian country inn

DAY ELEVEN – Golf at Pevero
The setting of sheltered coves and wooded hills along the Mediterranean, is simply superb.
The first nine holes follow the bay of Pevero, with water hazards on the 6th and 7th hole. The last 9 holes go down along the waterfront of Cala di Volpe, and here again, water comes into play.
But what golfers will remember most about Pevero, is the exquisite setting. Tonight enjoy a farewell drink and dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Golf at Acquasanta Club
The Circolo del Golf di Roma was founded back in 1903 by English diplomats.
It is the oldest club in Italy, but it has always remained on par with the changing times. Acquasanta is a living testimony to the origins of golf in Italy, and visitors can feel it
immediately in the ambiance upon entering the sober clubhouse of English inspiration.
Surrounded by the unparalleled natural and artistic beauty of the archeological ruins, and with the Appia Aqueduct towering in the background, the course demands precision
more than power.
The greens are small but well defended by front water hazards, bunkers or grass embankments. The fairways of the Acquasanta, which owes its name to the source of salubrious mineral waters, have been walked by noblemen, politicians, diplomats, and jet-setters, who have measured themselves on this delicate course.
Golf at Marco Simone
The Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, the chosen venue of the Italian Golf Federation’s 2023 Ryder Cup bid, is a green oasis of relaxation just a few miles from the centre of Rome.
Considered one of the most prestigious golf courses in Italy it is a must play in Rome with its challenging and engaging layout featuring tree-lined narrow fairways, lakes, and
several elevation changes… the view of St Peter’s Dome from several sites, adds even more excitement to the game!
Marco Simone Golf Course is named after an 11th-century castle that is located right on the course with its tower visible from many holes (today Marco Simone Castle is the
house of the golf course owner, fashion designer Laura Biagiotti).

Hotel Medici is a 2-minute walk from Duomo Square, it offers basic rooms with simple decoration. WiFi is available throughout.

Villa Flori, Cernobbio, Lake Como – Classic lake view room
This restored 19th century villa is set on the western shores of , 0.9 miles from Cernobbio. It offers elegant rooms with parquet floors and marble bathrooms.
Set in a private park with orange and lemon groves, the historic Hotel Villa Flori features Venetian stucco work and frescos. The Italian general Giuseppe Garibaldi got married here.
