Al Hamra Golf Club, an eighteen-hole championship course, has been carefully sculpted through four interconnected open water lagoons and desert landscape.

After breakfast, transfer over to the Ghala Golf Club is one of Muscat’s oldest golf clubs.
Founded in 1971, it is an 18-hole, par 72, fully grassed course, with driving range and putting greens for practice as well as a licensed clubhouse with panoramic views over the 18th green. Built into a natural wadi (dried-up river bed), the course is flanked on either side by the iconic Al-Hajar mountains.
The valley setting is uniquely Omani, providing narrow fairways and challenging greens.

Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club is the visionary dream of His Highness Sayyid Kais bin Tarik Al Said, completed in December 2009 and opened in January 2010.
Designed by Paul Thomas from internationally renowned Dave Thomas and Associates. The golf course has the privilege of being the first par 72, 18 hole championship grassed course in Sultanate of Oman.
The course is built on what was an open expanse of land with undulating hills and natural wadis, specific detail went into sculpturing and landscaping the golf course into the natural contours without disturbing the natural wadis terrain and is a prominent feature players experience during play at Muscat Hills.

Designed by Greg Norman, the course at Al Mouj Golf provides a challenging 18 holes of varying lengths and configurations. Norman has captured the essence of the surrounding environment and enhanced it to produce a links-style course that runs alongside over two kilometers of beach.
The course is 7,342 yards in length, and highlights include a daunting Par 3 island green and a challenging Par 5 that stretches for over 600 yards.
The breathtaking views of the Sea of Oman and the Hajar Mountains are visible from everywhere on the course. Almouj Golf is also home to a golf academy with a state-of-the-art swing studio, driving range, and private golf lesson area.
Norman believes that Oman’s first PGA standard course is one of the best that he has been involved with anywhere in the world and anticipates that over the coming years Almouj Golf will gain global recognition.
Al Hamra Golf Club lies on the shores of the Arabian Gulf in the Northern Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Designed by renowned golf course architect, Peter Harradine, the course incorporates both open water lagoons and desert landscapes resulting in a stunning par 72 championship course measuring 7,325 yards at full length with five varying tee options providing a fun and enjoyable test of golf for the seasoned professional or fledgling enthusiast.

This iconic course recently went through a major redesign that was carried out by Dellanzo Group in collaboration with landscape designer Beatrice Franceschi.

Designed by Paul Thomas of David Thomas and Associates the 72-par, just under 7,000-yard golf course is uniquely designed over 45 hectares of land that boasts sea views and a spectacular backdrop of the Al Hajar Mountains.
The course is landscaped in and around the natural Wadi terrain offering generous fairways and challenging shots over the wadi escarpments.
Nestled against the dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains and pristine waters of the Gulf of Oman, Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa consists of two hotels, Al Bandar and Al Waha.
