Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club is the first 18 hole championship grass course in the country and is the home of golf in Oman. Muscat Hills was carefully crafted by the internationally acclaimed golf course designer Paul Thomas. Natural mountainous surrounds, challenging undulating fairways, and greens requiring accurate approach shots make for some spectacular golf.

DAY ONE – International outbound flight
Today your adventure begins, by boarding your international outbound flight to Oman.
Meet and Greet by our staff at the International Airport, and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, and a free date to relax before our evening welcome dinner with your fellow golfers.

DAY TWO – Golf at Al Mouj Golf Course
After breakfast, transfer over to Aj Mouj Golf club for you round. The host of the European Oman open, the links-style coastal course is a great challenge for every level of golfer.
Al Mouj is the number one ranked golf course in Oman and also features as the second best course in the Middle East

DAY THREE – Golf at Ras Al Hamra Club
After breakfast, enjoy amazing canyon views on the amazing Troon-managed facility.
Al Hamra Golf Club, an eighteen-hole championship course, has been carefully sculpted through four interconnected open water lagoons and desert landscape.
The layout has no less than five tee options on each hole giving golfers of all abilities a perfect opportunity to get the most from their golfing experience.

DAY FOUR – Dolphin watching
After breakfast,we will spend the mid-morning dolphin watching. Spinner and bottlenose dolphins are the most sighted near the coast all year round, along with a host of other whale species.
Witness these wild creatures jump their way across their natural habitat as crossing the untamed ocean is a relaxing trip in itself.

DAY FIVE -Golf at the Ghala Golf Club
After breakfast, transfer over to the Ghala Golf Club is one of Muscat’s oldest golf clubs.
Founded in 1971, it is an 18-hole, par 72, fully grassed course, with driving range and putting greens for practice as well as a licensed clubhouse with panoramic views over the 18th green. Built into a natural wadi (dried-up river bed), the course is flanked on either side by the iconic Al-Hajar mountains.
The valley setting is uniquely Omani, providing narrow fairways and challenging greens.

DAY SIX – Day in the life tour
After breakfast, meet your private guide and spend the day in the life of an Omani villager.
Walk through the traces of early civilisations all over Oman and discover how an era could have been lost, found, and kept alive in the hearts of every Omani and curious traveller.
An age-old neighborhood surrounded by luscious plantations, you will be taken back in time with remnants of a community once full of life.
With a stop, you will find yourself caught up in the charm of the carefully restored village, its beautiful ruins, and its famous waterways called Falaj, a brilliant irrigation system from the early days.
Like a true local villager, enjoy Nizwa’s lively souk and make your way to its historic fort.

DAY SEVEN – Golf at Al Mouj Golf Course

DAY EIGHT – Nature hike to Wadi Shab
After breakfast, visit Wadi Shab carving through high sandstone cliffs on the Gulf of Oman coast, Wadi Shab is one of the country’s most picturesque dry river gorges.
The wadi’s palm-lined hiking trail and aquamarine waters make it a must for outdoors enthusiasts.
n the company of a guide, hike through mango trees and shallow pools. Swim in a cave and admire waterfalls. Stop at notable spots along the way, including a fort.

DAY NINE – Dessert adventure & farewell dinner
No other contrast can be more strikingly beautiful than that of an oasis and a dessert. That is exactly what this tour is all about.
Savour the views of the rolling sand dunes of Wahiba and get the chance to meet the Bedouins who call it home.
You’ll find yourself in the middle of golden desert land that stretches as far as your eyes could see. After an authentic desert adventure, cool off and dive into the Wadi Bani Khalid’s natural green waters surrounded by palm tree gardens.

DAY TEN – Golf at Muscat Hills
Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club is the visionary dream of His Highness Sayyid Kais bin Tarik Al Said, completed in December 2009 and opened in January 2010.
Designed by Paul Thomas from internationally renowned Dave Thomas and Associates. The golf course has the privilege of being the first par 72, 18 hole championship grassed course in Sultanate of Oman.
The course is built on what was an open expanse of land with undulating hills and natural wadis, specific detail went into sculpturing and landscaping the golf course into the natural contours without disturbing the natural wadis terrain and is a prominent feature players experience during play at Muscat Hills.

Al Mouj Golf Club
Designed by Greg Norman, the course at Al Mouj Golf provides a challenging 18 holes of varying lengths and configurations. Norman has captured the essence of the surrounding environment and enhanced it to produce a links-style course that runs alongside over two kilometers of beach.
The course is 7,342 yards in length, and highlights include a daunting Par 3 island green and a challenging Par 5 that stretches for over 600 yards.
The breathtaking views of the Sea of Oman and the Hajar Mountains are visible from everywhere on the course. Almouj Golf is also home to a golf academy with a state-of-the-art swing studio, driving range, and private golf lesson area.
Norman believes that Oman’s first PGA standard course is one of the best that he has been involved with anywhere in the world and anticipates that over the coming years Almouj Golf will gain global recognition.
Al Hamra Golf Club
Al Hamra Golf Club lies on the shores of the Arabian Gulf in the Northern Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Designed by renowned golf course architect, Peter Harradine, the course incorporates both open water lagoons and desert landscapes resulting in a stunning par 72 championship course measuring 7,325 yards at full length with five varying tee options providing a fun and enjoyable test of golf for the seasoned professional or fledgling enthusiast.
Ghala Golf Club
Ghala Golf Club – Golf in the heart of Muscat. Originally designed by renowned British golfer, Bill Longmuir.
This iconic course recently went through a major redesign that was carried out by Dellanzo Group in collaboration with landscape designer Beatrice Franceschi.
Situated in the heart of Muscat, with narrow fairways and sea views, it is a challenge for all skill levels.
Muscat Hills Golf Club
Built-in its own distinct corner of Muscat’s rugged hills and etched by canyon-like wadis, the 18 holes boast tremendous views over the Al Hajar Mountains with the Muscat Sea in the distance.
Members and visitors playing golf in Oman often make compliments on the fairness of the design of Muscat Hills and how the golf course makes you want to come back time and time again.
Designed by Paul Thomas of David Thomas and Associates the 72-par, just under 7,000-yard golf course is uniquely designed over 45 hectares of land that boasts sea views and a spectacular backdrop of the Al Hajar Mountains.
The course is landscaped in and around the natural Wadi terrain offering generous fairways and challenging shots over the wadi escarpments.

Shangri La Barr al Jissah Resort & Spa
Nestled against the dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains and pristine waters of the Gulf of Oman, Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa consists of two hotels, Al Bandar and Al Waha. Al Waha hotel, with a minimum room size of 32 sqm each is the ideal getaway for families. Guests enjoy a balcony or patio facing the sea or pool. Al Bandar hotel offers rooms with a minimum of 38 sqm of space, a balcony or terrace with views of the garden, sea or pools.
